About Bristol Emergency Food Pantry
Bristol Emergency Food Pantry - the city's major hunger-relief organization
The Bristol Emergency Food Pantry provides three days of food for people in the Bristol area who are hungry. Clients can receive food vouchers by coming to the Pantry between 1 and 3 any day the Pantry is open. They must bring a picture ID and social security cards for every member of the household. If their situation qualifies them, they then are served perishable and non-perishable items to make several nutritious meals for them and their family.
The Bristol Emergency Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) organization and has served Bristol since the 1980's. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directorsand are registered to solicit contributions in Virginia and Tennessee.

Without the help of our partners and supporters like you, the work of the Food Pantry would not be possible.
Hungry people in Bristol — the majority of whom are women, children, seniors, the working poor and people with disabilities — rely on soup kitchens and food pantries. With the goal of ending food poverty throughout the region. Bristol Emergency Food Pantry services last year provided food to almost 14,000 hungry local people.

Boy Scout Drive will be held each November.
The Postal Workers Food Drive.
The Postal Workers Food Drive will be held on the 2nd saturday of May each year. Residents are encouraged to leave their non-perishable food items by their mailboxes on that day and their mail carrier will pick them up when they deliver the mail. This is an easy way to make a food donation to the Pantry.
